| npftm | May 8, 10:32am | | loads of stuff if you Google it. Not sure otherwise. Try deleting your Firefox and Thunderbird folders (inc. program) before reinstalling. |

Sponsor | Karolinger | May 8, 11:00am | Restart your computer before installing Thunderbird again, it's possible that the dll is still loaded in memory.
2: good idea.
If that doesn't work, you might want to scan your computer for virus and malware. |

Sponsor | Karolinger | May 8, 11:07am | Did you delete the folder where Thunderbid was installed?
Mostly, I think, C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\ |

| npftm | May 8, 11:15am | | If you are using Firefox you will probably have to delete profiles/folders for that too, as I think both programs use the same DLL (which handles JavaScript) |

| npftm | May 8, 11:30am | | Either admin rights, registry error (if using Windows) or malware, as Karolinger suggested. Other than that I'm stumped. |

| npftm | May 8, 11:36am | | Not sure which A/V you use but might be worth downloading a trial of Kaspersky and scan using that. If no virus or malware it sounds like some files are knackered. |
